Are We Electing Ourselves Into a One World Government?

By Nancy Thomson

Time was when there was a real difference between Republicans and Democrats.  Along came World War I and Woodrow Wilson.  This President wanted the US to join the League of Nations, forerunner to the United Nations.  Congress refused to join but Wilson did start another legacy--making "loans" to European countries that was Constitutionally illegal  He appointed a well -known Republican, Herbert Hoover, to administer the program, a real bipartison ploy. Of course the loans weren't repaid. US business suffered because their equipment was outdated compared to the new tools available to the Europeans courtesy of US "loans."

The loan business set a precedent on the home front also as FDR started subsidizing relief programs.  Socialism was ushered in with cradle to grave legislation and along came World War II.  Lend lease (another US non-repayment plan) was instituted to aid the allies including Russia. Later during the cold war we provided the Europeans with support to protect them against Russian communism and instituted NATO for that reason. When the Berlin wall came down, Russia again became an ally and received our tax -supported loans from the IMF and World Bank.  In addition, Russia now belongs to NATO!

LBJ's Vietnam era with its "War on Poverty" sealed in place many new government home welfare programs that became "entitlements."  The Vietnamese communists still control that country today.  But despite this fact fighting has given way to establishing a trade relationship that entitles this communist government to American aid packages.

The Republicans raised objections, on Constitutional grounds, to the redistribution of American's tax money on these foreign and domestic ventures.  Immediately Republicans were dubbed "isolationist and uncaring" two terms that psychologically plague the Party to this day. So many are now dependent on our government handouts here and throughout the world.  The formerly unthinkable has become the accepted norm by most voters.  Note the hue and cry because we're not enough involved in the AIDS and other affairs in Africa!  So what to do?  If the Republicans try to scale back welfare or the march to socialism in any area they loose elections.  If you can't beat them join them!  Do so on a smaller scale in order to protect what conservative elements are left in the population at large.

The media keeps up a continual drumbeat of global and domestic needs for US taxpayer's generosity.  As the Democrats move to the left to accommodate socialistic internationalism the Republicans follow in order to stay in the voter market.  Now both parties support undeclared wars, and dictates from the UN.  It is always easier to follow the liberal drumbeat of the media and education establishment than to form opinions gathered from research.  Because most people are politically ignorant and lazy, both parties, with small differences are playing to this same majority uninformed audience.  Since "elitists" are choosing our presidential candidates constitutional adherents should promote like-minded organizations that are still dedicated to our original freedoms.

One can lament the lack of choice between presidential candidates. Keep one thing in mind.  A Kerry victory advances the one party goal.  He will be free to saddle the public with an expanding social agenda accelerated by propaganda from Hollywood, the mainstream media, the university crowd and numerous left-wing immigrant advocates.

Resist a "quicker political take-over" because time is the only ally at the present time.

One of two things will happen if the political take-over is complete.  Either the Republican Party's alternative conservatives will become insignificant, government dependent minorities will soon be the deciding factor in elections, or the parties will merge into only one electable party without most people recognizing it.  The latter is the goal of the UN that, at its inception was scheduled to become the One World Government.  Some have said this is why the collusion between the two parties has been planned all along.  It is much easier to hand over a one party system to global governance than to fight resistance from another political entity.

So what is the difference in this election between the presidential candidates?  It isn't just the top of the ticket to be considered but the political agendas of their chosen allies.  The foreign oriented neocon Republican officials; Wolfowitz, Feith, Perle etc were once Democrats and think nothing of party hopping.

However an unsettling group--the Progressive Caucus (they changed their name from the Democratic Socialists of America for obvious reasons) consists of 58 all Democrat members of the House, seven from California, and could never switch parties.  Henry Waxman, Maxine Walters, Eleanor Holmes Norton, Nancy Pelosi (House Minority Leader) Jesse Jackson Jr., Hilda Solis, Pete Stark, John Conyers, Paul Wellstone (recently deceased) David Bonior, Barney Frank and Dennis Kucinich (Caucus Chairman and presidential candidate) are just some of the important members.

Besides working for the socialist cause internationally, this group has a Directory of Locals and Organizing Committees that are promoting socialism in all the states including American Samoa. They also have Youth Chapters involved.  The Caucus is an affiliate of The Socialist International.  Their goals: cut defense spending by 50%, socialized medicine, massive public works and broader affirmative action programs.  Caucus philosophy is at odds with the US constitution.  What about the oath of office required of all in Congress?  Not one Republican is associated with this Caucus for a reason.  They haven't been coerced to this degree yet.

Members of this group hold important positions even with a minority party status, and they are working in tandem with global objectives espoused by the Party leaders.  Their power is obvious.  Not only does the media ignore these House members belonging to a subversive organization, they won't even admit there is such an association.  Note Kerry has stressed UN participation in everything including signing on to the Kyoto and International Criminal Court treaties, endorses US involvement around the world, paid college for all, embryonic stem cell research, on and on.

Consider this elective matter in November.
