Fast track Authority sought for FTAA

Just sat NO to giving President Bush FAST TRACK to incorporate all 33 Latin American countries into the Free Trade Area of the Americas FTAA

The President must get FAST TRACK approval before he can negotiate this "Free Trade of the Americas" treaty. It is another unequal trading field with the US being an industrial nation while the Latin countries are third world low wage countries. If this treaty passes, our economy will be merged with these nations and the US dollar will be the currency. In case the need for financial bailouts occurs, US taxpayers will get stuck with the bill. It will be open borders for goods and people in all the NAFTA nations involved.

Guess which country will be the main recipient of the migrant population shift?

FAST TRACK will likely come up in both the Senate and House this fall.

Senator Grassley form Iowa is Chairman of the Finance Committee. He said his panel might approve FAST TRACK in June or July.

H.R. 938 "United Nations Rapid Deployment Act of 2001"

The UN has found the excuse to institute a Rapid Deployment Brigades force. Citing the 1994 bloodletting in Rwanda where the UN Security Council failed to deploy peacekeepers to stop the violence. They issued the "Brahimi Report" listing the necessary arrangements including a standing police corps for international and civilian policing.

None other than former US Ambassador Holbrooke (Council on Foreign Relations) recommended it.

THE COURT TO TAKE AWAY OUR FREEDOMS

This is a bad idea that won't go away. Regardless of whether our Senate ratifies it we will be under its jurisdiction if enough countries become members. The War Crime Tribunal is the forerunner for the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the US is heavily involved in this Hague judicial establishment. Our military are hunting down "so-called" UN declared war criminals. Our government told the new government in Yugoslavia that if it wants continued American aid they will have to arrest and imprison Milosevic. Meanwhile the US has broken International Law by deliberately bombing civilian targets in Yugoslavia.

Cambodia's National Assembly set up an international and local group of judges to try the Khmer Rouge movement. Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe while at a UN summit in New York was served with a civil lawsuit. The suit claims Mugabe "violated all international and domestic norms" This leader of Zimbabwe ordered the expropriation of hundreds of white-owned farms resulting in the deaths of many innocent people Chinese communist leader Li Peng was also served with papers in New York for his crushing of Tiananmen Square in 1989 as well as vioating other human rights. Despite gross crimes against humanity, no UN tribunal has sought to try these men.

No communist Russian, Chinese or African leaders guilty of genocide have ever been under the yoke of international courts. The ICC besides imposing a foreign justice contrary to our system of law would follow the same prejudicial pattern.

THE FOLLOWING ISN'T OPPORTUNITY, IT IS PART OF GOALS 2000

S. 371, titled the CHILD OPPORTUNITY ZONE FAMILY CENTER ACT OF 2001, sponsored by Senator Reed. The goal is to establish and expand child Opportunity Zone Family Centers in public elementary schools and secondary schools and for other purposes. This is another public/private partnership to provide comprehensive support services for children and their families, and to improve the children's educational, health, mental health, and social outcomes (outcome based education with the intent to brain wash the entire family) Goals 2000 wants the school to be the hub of all community activity including health clinics.

As of now this legislation is in the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE TITLE
THE NATIONAL HOMELAND SECURITY AGENCY ACT

Rep. William Thornberry (R-TX 13) authored H.R. 1158 that has been referred to the Committee on Government Reform. This is a take-over, not reform. Stating that the US homeland must be protected from weapons of mass destruction, this bill wants the government to institute a new agency. It will be referred to as hence forth as the "Agency."

Besides establishing a Director with dictatorial power, there will be a transfer of authorities, functions, personnel and assets to the Agency. The following entities will be transferred to this new organization: FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency) US Customs Service, the Border Patrol of the INS, the US Coast Guard, the Infrastructure Assurance Office, (includes the Department of Commerce) National Infrastructure, the National Domestic Preparedness Protection Center and the FBI. Recommendations and responsibilities plus other complicated details abound.

Undoubtedly congress will be asked to fund this Agency. The UN Charter was passed with only 2 senators opposing it. They were the only ones who bothered to read the Charter. NAFTA was passed while some of the items were still being written. The Legislators should read their own bills and not depend on interpretation by their staff. This bill under the guise of protecting our security could emasculate our freedom.

CAN WE AFFORD THIS?

H.RES. 87, sponsored by Representative Capuano, is a resolution to Expand Access to Community Health Centers (REACH) This legislation would "invest" in programs that provide health services to uninsured and low-income individuals in medically "underserved" areas and stipulates aid be increased in order to double access to care over the next 5 years. An increase of 100 percent is the true figure. Migrant (illegal aliens, my definition) homeless and public housing centers would be the targeted beneficiaries.

Hospitals in certain areas are running out of money. Those who pay their medical bills are charged extra to cover the loss of revenue from non-paying patients because government subsidies are never enough. People are pouring in by foot, container and plane to get free medical care here.

A doctor called me and complained about all the elderly parents being brought here from foreign counties by their relatives. They receive free glasses and any medical procedure should they need it. US legislators get free medical care at the best hospital in Washington DC while many retired citizens are being priced out of the medical market. This bill would further lower the standards and raise the cost for tax-paying Americans.

GOOD BILLS FROM RON PAUL

H.J. RES. 27, may be cited as the "Constitutional War Powers Resolution of 2001" Congressman Paul states that it was the framers of the Constitution intent that Congress, not the President has the power to declare war. Therefore the War Powers Act should be repealed.

Another part to this resolution declares that Elements of the Armed forces should be deployed only when there is a declaration of war, or an attack upon the United States.

H. J. RES. 45, is proposing an amendment to the US Constitution to abolish personal income estate, and gift taxes while prohibiting the United States government from engaging in any business in competition with its citizens. Section 2 of this resolution states the Constitution or laws of the United States, shall not be subject to the terns of any foreign or domestic agreement which would abrogate this amendment.

Essay:

The Progress of State Department Publication 7277

By Nancy Thomson

"We Have Met the Enemy and He is Us" - Pogo

One, Two, Three----Surrender. That is the title of an article by Ken Thompson, editorial staff writer for the Dallas Morning News. Thompson's essay was reprinted in the American Mercury during the summer of 1962. He was referring to the State Department Bulletin, 7277 entitled "Freedom from War: The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World." [1]

In September of 1961, President Kennedy addressed the United Nations about the desire of the United States to reach an agreement on disarmament. Adlai Stevenson, our ambassador to the UN echoed this stand taken by Kennedy. While Kennedy spoke in general terms the devil was in the details written up by the State Department. The goals OUR STATE DEPARTMENT hoped to PUSH THROUGH THE UN encompassed 3 phases. First there must be an immediate disarmament action, and nuclear weapons tests would be prohibited, second, all disarmament obligations must be subject to effective international controls. Phase 3, adequate peacekeeping machinery must be established. The summary calls for the disbanding of all national armed forces and the development of international law. [2]

According to 7277, we would provide agreed manpower for the UN Peace Force. It would be "fully- functioning " and strong enough to overpower any single nation or combination of nations resisting its will.

Remember the unconstitutional edict of placing US military under the UN banner was revealed in 1961, although the plan was obviously devised much earlier.

The Start II Arms Control Treaty with the former Soviet Union, ratified by Congress in 1996 didn't receive the Russian's signature until April 2000. Because the US observed this arms control agreement while the Russians did not our military testing has suffered. [3]

Our numerous base closings including the strategic Naval Station at Long Beach, the downsizing of our armed forces and lack of adequate training weapons are examples of compliance with the State Department's 7277 Disarmament plan. NATO was the first step towards our military's full functioning under the UN flag. Our troops have now been turned into peacekeepers all around the globe.

We (NATO and the UN) have "overpowered" the military in Yugoslavia. This episode in history certainly established the peacekeeping machinery. So much so that Yugoslavia is bound to be a UN protectorate for years to come. The same can be said of Haiti, another UN effort that left a country worse off for having been saved by global action troops.

Rogue nations around the world are grooming nuclear weapons and China even tested one while Clinton was guesting there. Evidence points to Russian involvement in developing nuclear and other exotic military weapons of destruction despite any treaties they may have signed.

It is evident from paper 7277 that certain elements in our own government are just as busy destroying the US as are the communist/socialist nations. It appears that this State Department paper was aimed at reducing US military capabilities, not those of our so-called enemies.

Again with H.R. 938, the representatives will be asked to pass a bill that completes the military function of global control. [4]

The peacekeepers use heavy weapons force on other countries armed services. Civil uprising will bring in a different UN organization as named in H.R. 938, the "United Nations Rapid Deployment Force." Nations are to enter into partnerships with each other in the context of the United Nations Stand-by Arrangements System (UNSAS) These UN partnerships would form the basis for the Rapid Deployment Brigades (RDBs)

This deployable force would be under the UN Security Council. It would be deployed when the Security Council determines there is violation of human rights, (who decides what human rights are?) breaches of the peace, or failure to restore the rule of law (whose law?) The Brigade will be composed of 6000 volunteers who train together and are equipped for international peace operations, including civilian policing.

The Rapid Deployment forces shall negotiate peace accords, disarm combatants, detain war criminals and carry out other purposes. [5]

There goes our Bill of Rights and judicial system along with our sovereignty!

Not only should the United States join this plan, the President is to ask the Secretary of State and our representative to the United Nations to encourage other nations to enter into partnerships with each other to form the Rapid Deployment Brigades.

Mentioned in the text of this bill -the European Union has proposed forming a standing police force and rapid deployment brigades as part of the European Defense Force. The United States Department of Defense is establishing INTERIM BRIGADE TEAMS as part of the overall Army transformation strategy. [6] Fellow citizens, have you heard about this?

Taking one step at a time, our government first advocated "global disarmament." Meanwhile other countries were perfecting their war capabilities as the US followed its own UN edict by disarming and closing military bases. Now one of our congressmen is promoting a UN Rapid Deployment Brigade (already partially established in the European Union and the United States)

To coordinate with these global programs Representative Thornberry from Texas has introduced the National Homeland Security Agency Act. [7]

If civil disturbance and riots should occur in the US due to energy shortages, high unemployment and continued mass immigration, the UN Rapid Deployment Brigade would be called into action. This legislation merges important government agencies under one command thus eliminating the time consuming job of the UN having to deal with many different bureaus. Some individual government official might even object to a UN military take-over of his department. By placing important government agencies under one approved command there will be no independent opinions or obstruction of the UN planned domestic operations.

Most people don't know that our own elected representatives have designed some of the UN agenda that is destroying US sovereignty. In addition congress legislates domestic policies that are coordinated to implement these global goals. We have mounted a campaign trying to stop the senate from voting for the International Criminal Court Treaty.

What hasn't been publicized is the fact that S. J. 32 and S. 1281, bills originating in our 103rd congress opened the door to an International Criminal Court.

The machinations behind establishing the International Criminal Court involve some very high profile US politicians.

Stay Tuned.
