Where is the Difference?

Are we ready for a one party system?
Ready or not this political trend has been going on for some time.

I’m a Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Reagan conservative Republican voting for McCain along with all those Democrats. How often did the media broadcast such a statement from a professed conservative voter who should have wondered about this political arrangement. Perhaps the Parties could back the same candidate and save all that money.

NAFTA will create a middle class in Mexico and then immigrants won’t want to come here, candidate George W Bush. Both candidates vacillate between left and right of center according to the audience and the polling data. Despite all the liberal leanings of these two candidates many believe they are conservatives. Confusion reigns even when issues are clearly defined so it is no wonder people don’t understand the intertwining Democrat / Republican manipulations that are going on.

Campaign 2000 will be noted more for the issues that were never debated rather than for topics that were discussed.

Foreign affairs now invade every phase of our lives. Our freedom and sovereignty are challenged daily by UN sponsored conferences and the international trade treaties and courts. Where is the division of opinion by parties in any of these operations? Why no candidate forum discussions concerning foreign policy? KOSOVO was and continues to be a disaster. We are propelled into UN peacekeeping all over the world while our own defense and strategic interests in the Panama Canal go unnoticed.

For years we have supported every communist country with our IMF and World Bank funds. Chinese aggression is defended with the assertion that our large imbalance of trade (in China’s favor) will turn tyrannical countries into "democratic" nations. A change from Democrat to Republican rule doesn’t translate into a change in policies.

These UN foreign intrusions into countries and the financial support of communists could have been curtailed by the Republican congress. Instead there was no attempt to stop IMF and World Bank monies from going to support our potential enemies. Certainly these instances deserved the actions of an opposition party. There was no resistance from the other side of the aisle.

Money, careers and socialist plans rely on the ability to convince voters they have a choice between candidates in two different parties. The drastic foreign and domestic changes are accepted since the illusion is that two opposing organizations had balanced the needs of the nation.

Social Security, taxes, education (government fostered Goals 2000 is the problem) budget surplus (there is none) are the safe subjects trotted out every year. Solutions to these problems are argued at great length as a basis for parading a difference of opinion. Bicker on the smaller matters and evade the important concerns.

Converging of political parties became more of a reality as the "Eastern Establishment" or Rockefeller branch of the Republican party managed to infiltrate the department’s of State, Treasury, and cabinet positions. The family Rockefeller had a foot in both of the parties, so it is clear why both Democrats and Republicans shared the same international goals.

As evidence just how far the two main political parties have merged, take project Voter.com. This organization located in Washington DC, brings together the "Left" and " Right" of the political spectrum. Both the Republican and Democrat National Committees have signed to serve as National Charter Advisors. Sponsors include: AFL-CIO, American Conservative Union, Americans for Tax Reform, BIPAC, Christian Coalition, Democratic Leadership Council, EMILY’S LIST, People for the American Way, Sierra Club, and the US Chamber of Commerce. In case people aren’t aware, the Chambers, local, national and international are closely associated with the UN.

Voter.com recently launched a nationwide multimillion-dollar advertising campaign to insure every American has the opportunity to experience the best political portal in the country. Republican Director of voter.com is Randy Tate, former Director, Christian Coalition, member of congress, and ally of internationalist Newt Gingrich.

In addition, the California Republican State Party, with its publications as well as speeches keeps up a steady drumbeat for diversity. The National Republican Party and its officials do the same. Almost every major ethnic group in America (exceptions are European or English) has a separate Republican club. President Franklin D Roosevelt started the political strategy of dividing people into separate classes and then pandering to them on the basis of their diversity. Now Republican parties on every political level are engaged in this practice. This eliminates one of the previous stands on US sovereignty as Republicans refuse to discuss the catastrophic impact of immigration.

There are still some conservative Republican representatives in congress, but they are sidelined by the media, and not honored with positions of authority in the political structure. Erasing the political opposition party in the US is part of the merger into one world government. It is just as much a part of the agenda as the disappearance of competition from the merging international business and banking establishments.

Polls tell us what is main stream so we won’t be standing out there alone. Republican and Democrat leaders present us with candidates from the same mold whose capital argument concerns qualifications. This is about all they can discuss because including the real issues would show them to have the same agenda.

So what is the difference between the two political parties? There is none.
